As an Acquisitions Editor at Frommer's Travel Guides, I edited over 150 destination guides, from the classic Frommer's Guides, to the $-a-Day books, Day-by-Day 4-color books, "...for Dummies" books, Portable Guides, as well as the Free & Dirt Cheap series.
I sourced and hired the writers, negotiated their contracts, edited their copy and maps, commissioned and chose photos for the 4-color guides, wrote jacket and marketing copy.
